I ask for your financial help to provide an unforgettable wedding to the most deserving couple ever. These two have spent most of their adult lives caring for orphaned children. We met them in 2012 while on a mission trip; they were both working at VCCH, caring for orphans in one of the poorest areas of Port-Au Prince, Haiti. We have become the best of friends through the many trips that we have made to visit the orphanage over the past years. During our last trip to Haiti in February our driver/security guard/friend dropped the big question to the love of his life. He asked his soul mate to marry him. She said yes! She is the head mother/ supervisor in charge of daily operations and is responsible for the care of 40 children at VCCH (Voice of Compassion of the Children of Haiti) Orphanage. Our Mission Team Family would love to give them a wedding comparable to an event here in the United States, inviting around 50 people. Both of their families are living in outlying villages in Haiti, some who have never been away from their homes; this will be an experience in itself for some of them to traveling to the big city of Port-au-Prince.
Our goal is to raise at least $5000.00 for the wedding and expenses involved with this special day. Haiti is a very poor country; most people struggle to maintain a lifestyle above poverty. Help us give this deserving couple the wedding they deserve, and for one day not have to worry about money. Let’s treat the couple and their families to a special event. The wedding is in Oct 2018. Please consider helping us make this occasion a special day for this unselfish, God loving, caring, hard working couple, a day they will treasure the rest of their lives.
